Location of the workshop: The workshop will be held in the Du Bois Center on the Northern Arizona University campus. Invited participants will stay in the Inn at NAU or in other local motels and will be provided with meals or a per diem.

  • I-40 EAST TO FLAGSTAFF
    Take I-40 to Exit 195B. Stay in the right lane and it will lead into the next offramp Exit 342. Turn right, this is McConnell Drive and leads you into Northern Arizona University campus.
  • To The INN at NAU
    Follow McConnell Drive straight through campus (turns into one-way street). Take left on San Francisco St. The Inn is located across the street from the Recreation Center approximately 1 mile from McConnell Drive.
  • I-40 WEST TO FLAGSTAFF
    Take I-40 to Exit 195B. Stay in the right lane and it will lead into the next offramp Exit 342.
  • I-17 NORTH TO FLAGSTAFF
    Take I-17 North to Exit 342. Turn right off of this exit, this is McConnell Drive, it leads you into Northern Arizona University Campus.

Lodging
The Inn at NAU,
The Inn at NAU is located on NAU campus providing convenient access to the conference and a central location to enjoy Flagstaff. A continental breakfast will be provided and each room is equipped with a small refrigerator, extra phone jack for internet access, a safe, and coffee maker. In addition The Inn also has a restaurant and bar. (more information below)

The assortment of eating establishments suggested are all located within a short walk or brief drive of NAU campus and The Inn at NAU.

Macy's, 14 S. Beaver Street (774-2243): coffeehouse that also serves breakfast and lunch items (vegetarian and vegan available).

Campus Coffee Bean, 1800 S. Milton Road, Greentree Plaza (556-0660): coffeehouse that serves various baked goods and lunch items (vegetarian available).

Dara Thai, 14 S. San Francisco Street (774-0047): Thai restaurant that serves lunch and dinner.

Beaver Street Brewery, 11 S. Beaver Street (779-0079): Restaurant/bar serving American cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Charly's, 23 N. Leroux Street (779-1919): Restaurant / bar serving American cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Oregano's, 605 West Riordan Road (773-8600): Restaurant / bar serving Italian dishes, sandwiches and pizza for lunch and dinner.

Buster's Restaurant and Bar, 1800 S. Milton Road (774-5155): Serving American cuisine for lunch and dinner.

The Inn at NAU, Northern Arizona University (523-1616): Restaurant / bar serving American cuisine for breakfast (6:30-9:00am), lunch (11:30-1:30pm), and dinner (5:00-7:30pm) -closed Mondays, Tuesday is pizza night.
